Marvel Studios has shared a new Thunderbolts trailer during the Superbowl this year, and it’s stacked with humor and a release date.
A short teaser appeared as a commercial, but shared that a longer trailer was available online.

The video opens up with the bold statement, “The Avengers aren’t coming.”
From there you get to see plenty of action, laughs, quirky characters, and more.
The Thunderbolts is a group made up of the villains of the MCU, and uses the tagline, “Everyone deserves a second shot.”
It will certainly be a different experience to that of the groups counterparts, The Avengers, which had an incredibly successful blockbuster run starting back in 2012.
Thunderbolts release date
For those who aren’t aware, you’ll be able to watch the Thunderbolts movie in theatres on May 2.
It follows the soon-to-be release Captain America: Brave New World, and debuts before the third film from Marvel Studios this year, Fantastic Four: First Steps.
February 14 will see Brave New World, while the Fantastic Four film will launch on July 25.
