The Dungeons & Dragons 2024 Monster Manual launches later this month on February 28, but fans can now access 150 monsters completely free.
While many content creators and media outlets have been given the green light to cover certain creatures from the new Monster Manual, your typical players were still left to wait to see things for themselves.
Free D&D 2024 Monster Manual stat blocks are out
While the wait for the full release is still looming, there has been an update to the Dungeons & Dragons Beyond “Free Rules” that adds 150 updated stat blocks for folks to bite into right now.
The early additions include Hobgoblins, a Gnoll, various animals, several swarms, and fan favorites like the Owlbear and three Goblins.
There’s definitely enough there to supply your campaign with some updated monsters until you get your hands on the full book later this month.
If you pre-ordered via D&D Beyond, you’ll be able to access as early as February 4 as a Master Tier subscriber and February 11 for the Hero tier.
Those of us who decided to support a local game store will need to wait until the official release on the 28th.
