The content machine that is Critical Role has shared a brand new project in the form of a podcast titled Weird Kids.
The Weird Kids podcast will be hosted by Taliesin Jaffe and Ashley Johnson, two members of the main Critical Role cast.

The podcast will focus on stories and experiences the two had growing up as child stars in the acting scene.
According to a post to X revealing the project, the duo will discuss everything “from antique toys and taxidermy to pop culture oddities and the quirks of LA life,”
When is the Weird Kids podcast release date
Fans will be able to learn more about it during a launch party stream featuring Jaffe and Johnson on March 20. The stream will begin at 7pm Pacific and available for viewing on Beacon, YouTube, and Twitch.
If you want to test drive it, don’t worry, the debut episode will be livestreamed everywhere on March 25. Below are the details from the official announcement.
Tuesday, March 25: Premiere Episode VOD & Podcast available everywhere!
- 5am Pacific: Available on Beacon and your preffered podcast platform
- 9am Pacific: Available on the Critical Role YouTube Channel and Weird Kids YouTube Channel
This arrangement is only for the premiere, however.
The show will air new episodes on Beacon, the companies own platform exclusively and then be added to YouTube a week later for each episode.
