While it may not have been the best before the update, The Queenbreaker is absolutely insane following the Destiny 2 Heresy update.
The February 4 update made a massive overhaul to the meta, and the 2018 addition is at the top of the list now when it comes to damage output.
Destiny 2 The Queenbreaker buffs make it insane

The official patch notes provide a look at exactly why this weapon is a must have now.
- Can now swap between its two scopes using special reload that also alters the weapon’s firing behavior:
- Marksman Sights fires a single-shot bolt that chains to nearby targets and blinds them on hit.
- Combat Sights fires a three-round burst that decreases charge time even further on sustained damage.
- While the scopes can be swapped between at any time, selecting the scope node in the inspection screen lets players choose which scope they want equipped by default when spawning in.
- Increased the search range of the chain projectiles from eight meters to ten meters.
So how do you get it?

How to get Destiny 2 The Queenbreaker catalyst
It’s actually not too difficult.
You can grab the Queenbreaker’s catalyst as a random drop from much of the normal activities to include Crucible, Gambit, and Vanguard.
We recommend Crucible as the quickest way to get it given it’s an end-of-match reward. However, if you find the other modes more enjoyable, do those!
After acquiring the catalyst, you’ll need to get 400 kills to unlock its perk, Rewind Rounds.
Then you’re ready to rock!
