New Star Wars-themed locations

Fortnite’s island is now home to several iconic Star Wars locations, each offering unique loot, challenges, and lore-filled visuals:

• First Order Base: A heavily fortified mountaintop facility featuring TIE fighter hangars and a vulnerable utility shaft entrance.
• Resistance Base: A hidden underground stronghold filled with gear, X-Wings, and anti-First Order technology.
• Outpost Enclave: A gritty smuggler town with a sandcrawler and underworld connections.
• Vader Samurai’s Solitude: A cinematic fortress where players can take on Darth Vader Samurai and his loyal stormtroopers for high-tier loot.

Fortnite Lightsabers and Force Powers

For the first time this season, players can acquire lightsabers and Force abilities through training and boss fights:

• Train with Rey or Emperor Palpatine: Interact with holograms to unlock Force powers like Push, Lightning, or Pull alongside your lightsaber.
• Defeat Darth Vader Samurai: Earn a red lightsaber and unlock the powerful Saber Throw ability.

Note: Force powers are linked to the player, not the weapon, and require a lightsaber to be equipped.

Explosives:

• Thermal Imploder returns, delivering a massive area-of-effect blast ideal for clearing enemies or structures.

Star Wars expands across Fortnite modes

The event isn’t limited to Battle Royale. Players can engage in Star Wars content across several Fortnite game modes:

• LEGO Fortnite: Build a Rebel Village, craft gear, and fight the Empire. The LEGO Pass: Rebel Adventure offers exclusive unlocks like a Chewbacca outfit.
• Fortnite Festival: Perform at a Mos Eisley Cantina-inspired venue and unlock Star Wars instruments, songs, and a special Seven-String Hallikset Guitar.
• Rocket Racing: Complete themed quests to unlock decals like Anakin’s Podracer and Darth Maul, and earn the Energy Binders Trail.

Exclusive Rewards and shop additions

• Free First Order Stormtrooper Outfit: Link your Epic Games and MyDisney accounts by August 31, 2025 to claim.
• Item Shop Skins: New cosmetics include Dagobah Luke, Lando Calrissian, and AWR Trooper, all with LEGO styles. Returning outfits like Leia Organa, Han Solo, Kylo Ren, and Boba Fett are also back.
• Beskar Bundle: Available for Rocket Racing and Rocket League, this set includes the Beskar Car Body and decals for Din Djarin, Boba Fett, Bo-Katan Kryze, and Sabine Wren.

Event timeline and quests

• Star Wars Quests: Go live in two waves — May 3 and May 7 at 9 AM ET. Completing these will reward Battle Pass XP and exclusive cosmetics like the AWR Pack Back Bling.
• Event End Date: All content and quests end on May 14 at 9 AM ET.
• Live In-Game Event: A major event featuring Emperor Palpatine is set for June 7.
